Talent Elaam Onum Ila Brother, Elaam Privilege

I used to write these long winding fluff pieces for business people. Essentially, the write-up would talk about how the person built his/her business from scratch all by themselves. I have interviewed budding, established, broke, first-generation and second generation business people. But somehow, this narrative never changes. It's like they want to play hide and seek with all the advantages and privilege they were born into or received.

But like Malcolm Gladwell writes in his book, Outliers,

“No one-not rock stars, not professional athletes, not software billionaires, and not even geniuses-ever makes it alone”

Listen to my podcast on privilege, how it operates in the Indian society and why it is important to understand our privilege?
